Premiere of Public Service Announcements By Kids, For Kids about the Importance of Having Health Coverage
November 9, 2015 @ 6:15 pm - 7:00 pm
FreeLocal Savannah summer camps create their own messages to peers about the importance of having health coverage and tell parents how to access in-person enrollment assistance
Three 30-second public service announcements written for kids, by kids will premiere on Monday, November 9, 2015 at the Sentient Bean, 13 E. Park Avenue at 6:15PM. Two middle school-aged camp groups, one from the City of Savannah’s Carver Heights Center and one from Savannah’s Build-a-Bridge Foundation along with a high school-aged group from the Frank Callen Boys and Girls Club put their creative energies toward messages that resonate with kids their own age about the importance of having health coverage.
This event is free and open to the public.
The project coordinated by the Campaign for Healthy Kids wishes to thank the City of Savannah Public Information Office for the production of the PSAs. The videos will be shown on the City’s SGTV channel and will be available for download free of charge at www.chathamsafetynet.org after the premiere to help educate and raise awareness of how important health coverage is to our children!
